Against a background of increasing digitalisation and connectivity, e.g., in automobiles and logistic networks, Messe Frankfurt is investing in several new fairs and congresses for the automotive and transport & logistics sectors.
At these events, customers can rely on the extensive market knowledge the company has built up through the internationalisation of the Automechanika trade fair. Behind the brand is a worldwide network of 120 associations and representatives for 160 countries. Today, Messe Frankfurt holds 15 Automechanika fairs in cooperation with its subsidiaries in 14 countries.
With the Automotive Engineering Show in India, the automotive fairs of Messe Frankfurt cover the entire value chain from the supplying and parts industry, via manufacturing, to the complete thematic constellation of repairs, management, digital solutions, automobile washing and care, services and vehicle reconditioning.
Messe Frankfurt is currently acquiring new B2C events in several countries worldwide including Russia, South Africa and Turkey. With the world’s second biggest truck fair, the Comtrans in Moscow, a joint venture with the ITE Group, Messe Frankfurt is significantly expanding its expertise in the commercial-vehicle sector. Previously, the segments covered focused mainly on the parts, accessories, workshop and service business, which is underscored clearly by the ‘Truck Competence’ label marking appropriate exhibitors at Automechanika fairs around the globe.
The Mobility & Logistics portfolio also includes two extremely successfully events in the logistics sectors. RailLog Korea, held biennially in the South Korean city of Busan, serves as the marketplace for the railway and logistics sectors for the Northeast Asia. Materials Handling Middle East, held every two years in Dubai, is the leading logistics hubs for the materials handling, delivery, logistics and transport sectors.
Eurasia Moto Bike in Istanbul and the Johannesburg Motor Show are other fairs that round off the portfolio of events in the Mobility & Logistics Business Unit.
